Parental Incarceration Background:

Applicants must currently have or have had a parent who was incarcerated at some point in their life.

 

Academic Excellence:

Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

Educational Aspirations:

Enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college, university, or vocational school.

Declare a major related to music, arts, or a field that demonstrates a clear connection to their musical talents and aspirations.

 

Essay Component:

Submit an essay (minimum 500 words) addressing the following:

Overview of musical talents and experiences.

Type of degree they are pursuing and why it aligns with their career goals.

Articulate how the scholarship will contribute to their educational journey.

Detail how they plan to utilize their degree in the future.

Explain why they believe they are a deserving candidate for the Blue Reign Foundation Scholarship.

 

Letters of Recommendation:

Provide two letters of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or community leader who can speak to the applicant's character, commitment to education, and musical talents.

 

Community Involvement:

Demonstrate involvement in community service, extracurricular activities, or initiatives related to music or arts.

 

Transcript Submission:

Submit an official academic transcript reflecting the applicant's academic performance.

 

Financial Need:

Provide a brief statement outlining any financial hardships or challenges that may impact their ability to pursue higher education.

 

Application Deadline:

Complete and submit all required materials by the specified scholarship application deadline.
